I have a 300 pa head, and I have a lead on 2 tower tuck and roll speakers with 4 10" speakers. Would these work? Sorry, I don't have any other info on the speakers yet...

I'm here to kick ass and chew bubblegum, and I'm all out of bubblegum.

They should work fine. A couple of things you might want to check, are all the speakers still original to the cabs? If so, then each cabinet is a 8 ohm cabinet, so two cabinets wired to the K300 will present a 4 ohm total load to the amp and is a perfect match. After 40+ years, you just never know how much tampering or speaker wiring might be in the cab.

Thanks! It is my understanding that they are original, but I will surely check.

Also, real quick...mine has a reverb lock...how much do you have to crank it to unlock? I cranked it quite a few times around, but it doesn't seem to be working.

It only takes about a quarter turn to unlock the reverb. The handle assembly might be damaged. If you pull the chassis out of the cabinet its easy to inspect it to see if its still all intact or if it has been damaged.

I'd also check to see how the speakers were wired inside of the cabinets. Like Pleat says, you never know who has been monkeying around inside of this stuff after so many years. Pay close attention to the ohms of the individual speakers and that they are all the same. Also make sure that since there is 4 speakers that they are wired parallel/series.

With no more than a half a turn counter clock it should unlock and pop back towards you on its own as it is spring loaded, if it does not do that spray a little WD 40 on its shaft with the amp sitting on its face almost so that the spray runs down the shaft and see if that helps, if not its is not un-common for the lock plate inside the pan to jam behind the reverb pans springs and if that has happened you will damage the pan upon pulling / forcing the lock handle out!
At that point the pan must be removed from inside the amp and the issue corrected to free up the lock!

Yikes! Nothing popped, but I didn't try to force it either. I guess I'm going to have to take it apart. Does the whole handle piece come out, or does it just disengage?

Once counter clock wise enought it should just pop back about one inch and stay there, if the whole handle and shaft portion comes out then you have problems!
Does the reverb itself seem to work normal as that would be a good sign?

No. Nothing changes when I turn the knobs. I just turned the lock in the proper direction 4 or 5 turns and nothing happened.
