Ok guys and gals. Just got off the phone with the City of Chanute. There is a nice building available for around $100-150 for an all day Saturday event. Available dates are April 12, 26, May 10, 17, 24. Not a real big place, but nice. I got word from the newpaper editor that they will be interested in doing some stories about Kustom/employees/enthusiasts. So far nothing from the radio station. If we want a catered Chicken dinner, I can get them for about $5.25 each-I guarantee ya won't go hungry. So we should be able to pull this thing off pretty cheap for all who join in. How 'bout it? Are we gonna Kustom Bash in Chanute??? Let me know soon. The more who sign up makes the costs go down for everyone. Thrill Bill Collins Parsons, KS

Not that it means much ~ But the April dates are not good for me ~ But any of the others are great with as much lead time as I can get! And let us not forget - as the holder of the last get together, there is still $125 in the kitty! Jc

I love the idea and the location, but the April and May dates (and even anything in June) come awfully close to interferring with farming season. We may get rained out or something developes that would allow me to attend, but something like that would be impossible to plan for. But I would support whatever the majority wants to do.

Well, it looks like the snowball has started! Looks like some dates have been nixed, some are maybes...The next step would be to pick one specific date of those remaining. May 10. There. Can we get any salutes to May 10? JO

I appreciate the consideration you guys are showing for my weird spring timetable. But, I really don't want everyone to allow the timing of this event to hinge around my planting season. "JO" mentioned May 10 - who knows - I may be rained out on May 8th and just be sitting around waiting anyway.

I am usually pretty flexible with my schedule if I know long enough in advance. So pick a date and count me in! BC
