Ok, this is not something I am proud of, but now that I have spent a little time on this board I feel I need to come clean. I may have bought my first piece of Kustom gear because of the television program Glee. My wife and two daughters were fans of the show and I reluctantly watched my fair share of episodes, I will not admit to liking them (but sometimes I tapped my foot). Anyway, the choir rehearsal room at the fictitious high school was set up with a wall of bitchin' red tuck and roll Kustom amps, being the gear freak that I am I noticed that they were super cool looking and it started a little itch that eventually led to my first Kustom purchase, and to this board. So there it is...whew I feel better.
Since joining the board I have corresponded with Pleat (patient zero) and several others infected with the Kustom virus...now I am pretty sure I am turning into a Kustom zombie too.
No, you haven't been truly bitten until you have bought several amps and cabinets that you really don't need but just can't help yourself......
I asked Pleat one time how many Kustom's were enough, and he said that there is always room for one more or something along that line. But it's true.....hard to walk away from another good deal. Think of it as your retirement fund on casters. Works for me.
Wow you actually admitted to watching Glee......well guess the Kustoms were the important thing about it.....I hope.

I think we all watched Glee is for the Kustom T&R. That show I think raised the interest in the original Kustoms and wished it would have shown more of the other colors that kustom offered. I hang with about 25 collectors that at one point or another admitted to watching. It's all about the amps.
