I have a K200-B2, with a reverb issue. The reverb tank is a 4EB2C1B, which appears to be incorrect based on other forum info, and what I have found on the internet. I believe the tank should be a 4FB2A1A. Can anyone confirm which is the correct tank please? I fired up my electronics test bench, and checked the reverb drive-jack on the PCB, there is drive to the tank when the reverb knob is turned on. I checked the output of the tank and it seemed to be really low. I "crashed-the-tank", and it could be faintly heard in the amp output. I removed the tank and substituted a coupling capacitor in its place, on a trial basis, and the reverb channel seemed to work just fine, with a 250Hz audio tone fed into the amp front panel. The reverb intensity control appears to function just fine, and the voltages on the spring-drive and output driver transistors to the PA appear to the track the voltages shown on the circuit diagram. BTW, if anyone out there has an amp with a ink marking on the front lip of the chassis that has RLV in the character string that shows the power supply voltage and testing date, that would be me. I worked in the final amp and radar test area at Kustom in the 1967 thru 1970 time frame, while attending college at PSU. Any assistance would be most appreciated!
