I bought this bass amp new in Rhode Island late 60's, early 70's, can't remember. Slant face with covers for both top and bottom. Needs speakers. Used it in clubs for many years with my '65 P-Bass. Still in remarkable shape. I've been playing it in Church(hooked up to a friend's Ampeg 8x10 bottom) up until a year or so ago when I resigned from the choir. Tied to the right speaker cabinet this thing still THUMPS. We've had quite a journey together, just don't need it anymore. Make an offer, contact me and I'll get some pics for you.

Hello and welcome!
In answer you amps birth date I can tell you that these new model heads did not roll out of the factory until 1971, with the last ones of these models being made in 74.
Your slant front speaker cab is a dead giveaway that it was made before the 250 models came to be.
In mid to late 1972 Kustom started to use a much courser grained Black T&R , so this is yet another way to rufflly date these amps and cabinets.
Sorry you find that you have no use for this sweet amp, but it sounds like it does not owe you a dime and served you flawlessly for many decades!
is the 2x12 still available? Would you sell it without the head? I'd get both, but I doubt I live close to you so shipping would be nuts. But for a 2x12 that needs speakers, I could probably swing that.
Gonna have to apologize...Didn't even look before I wrote the ad. The bottom is actually 2x15. It's been under the cover in my garage for years. I've been using the head with a different bottom. Totally forgot the speaker size...ought to be a law against getting old-lol! And I'd really like to keep the pair together if at all possible. BTW: Bottom model# = 2-15B, Serial# = 46825.
I live Hanahan, South Carolina (next door to Charleston). Meeting you somewhere in the middle might also be a possibility. My wife and I take frequent trips.
