I have just relisted my amp on ebay and to answer a question from one guy named Userbone who says I have no right to associate this amp with John Fogerty.I have never said this was one of his personal amps only that it has the harmonic clipper circuit that his amps had. I have been a guitar player, collector and have intensely studied guitars amps and etc for over 30 years and I have played with some of the finest and well known musicians in the southeast. I also some ten years ago met a well known roadie, Sonny, who had pictures of himself and John and Tom Fogerty in Atlanta when they played here in 1969 or so taken in black and white and he helped them set up that day and the one other time they played here. He is the guy that told me about the Harmonic Clipper knob first. Then in the Vintage guitar magazine story John himself talks about this circuit being key to his sound then and he even went as far as asking readers if they had one of these amps to contact his management. I have went overboard in representing this amp correctly I have been looking for one of these for at least 10 years and yes it has the sound but it does not fit the way I play now,a fender amp does so since I wont be using it and I have another 2 Kustom amps which I have had forever and I am in the process of having one of these doctored to have a harmonic clipper in it I no longer need this amp.But if someone is looking for a good amp that wants the sound a Harmonic Clipper and Selective boost has without Reverb and Tremelo then you should check this amp out and If Al reads posts here and who so eloquently emailed me (even though he doesnt accept return emails) about me not knowing anything about these amps please reply.I am the nicest guy in the world and it always amazes me how if the other guy has something its worth 50.00 but if they have it, its almost priceless! If fenders are worth 2000.00 for a deluxe reverb then shouldnt a hard to find Kustom head be worth 350-400.00? Why people are selling K 200 b-2's for 50.00 to 150.00 bucks I dont understand their reasoning, to us owners what we trade them for on places like ebay does affect their value whether we like it or not. I love these old amps and I used to tote these padded things around to every High School gym and Moose Lodge and Legion hall in North Georgia Alabama and Tennesee. We had 4 pa cabinets a mix of blue red and silver with 2 white K200 heads with this one band I used to work with some. Also I wrestled a Kasino 200 that we played 2 guitars and a bass thru at the same time for at least 3 years back in the day. So to end on a positive note long live the purple light!!!!!!!!!!!
