Question for the experts.
This new MOD tank I have coming from Antique Electronic Supply doesn't have the foam covering over it like the old Accutronics tank that came out of my Kustom K150-8.
Does this matter or affect the sound or operation of the new tank in any way?
Or was the foam there mainly to keep out dust?

It was there mainly to keep dust out and critters out.

So how would you recommend doing the same to the new tank, when I get it?

Go to a crafts supply store like Michael's or such. They sell foam in sheets that you can cut to the correct size needed.
