Senior Member I think the Bass/Treble EQ points are different. I don't know the exact frequencies, but I know the PA (-5 rigs) work well for acoustic guitars but the other rigs are just too bright. There are two grey leads with phono plugs attached to what I guess to be tremolo/reverb unit. They are not connected to anything. There's a board that will accept these leads. Are these what you said you disconnect in your post? If I reconnect, does it matter which lead goes to which jack? Sam Report message to a moderator

It is the reverb drive curcuit that drains some of the input signal, and hence tone, from the amp. Just having the pan disconected does not stop the drain.You might as well plug it back in, as those cords moving around in the amp could short something out, heres how. From faceing the back of the amp,the cable that comes off the left side of the pan gets pluged in to the RCA jack on the front board on the right. The other cord goes to the other jack on the board in about the middle of the amp, of you can leave them up pluged and just tie them up and out of harms way. Report message to a moderator
