Hi,I`m new to this board,I just got an old Kustom head,on the back it says 2-15c.Best as I can tell from old adverts it`s the 200 head, but I`m not sure how many watts it is.I opened it up as it doesn`t work, and found that all the wires are off the output transistors,I assume they are blown and someone tried to find which ones are gone.Where can I get a schematic of this head? Also, can I use the 2n3055 transistors on this?A lot of the old amps used these back then and I have access to some if I can use them. Also, are there any common mods people are doing to these heads nowadays?I haven`t owned one of these amps since 1971.Thank you,Bigjohn

HI, The amp is 100watts RMS.Yes, the 2n3055 transistor are a good sub for the original RCA 36892s, or better yet mouser electronics order nte130,s or nte181,s in matched pairs. You probibly have some blown drivers also.I would also change the rectifier bridge. Hear again using a fast recovery type of doide will make the amp sound better.
