I just found this site. Wow ! Brings back a lot of memories. Back in 1968, my band purchased a Kustom P. A. system in the blue sparkle. Impressed the #### out of everyone ! I'm out of touch these days. Why do the current Kustom amps have such a lousy appearance ?

... because everything sucks today, but enough about that. let's get to the really important issues - r u from indiana? i noticed it in your screen name - i am a native hoosier, several years removed. from fort wayne, to be specific. anyway, back to your question - seems they did try to reissue the tuck n roll stuff a while back ('cept, with tubes) and it ended up costing more than they thought it would and they ended up scrapping the whole thing. i m sure someone else here could prolly explain it better - man, these guys know EVERYTHING about kustom amps - kinda amazing really.

Hi, the guys on here are crazies and that includes Deb, goddess of bass and proud proclaimer for Carvin speakers. We are dedicated to the conservation and preservation of the Nauga species. We will buy unwanted castoffs from less informed and enlightened musicians. Most of us have some pretty nice kollections. If you need proof, go to www.kustomplayer.com. There, pictures are posted by John Compton out of Chicago. Most of us have pretty reasonable wives who understand our obsession. The real joy, however, is when we roll a pristine Kustom onto a stage and all the young kids drop their collective jaws. Most of us go back to the beginning of the Kustom era. I bought my first Kustom PA when I was a freshman in college in 1969. I then sold most of my stuff in the mid 80's. When my boys found a K200B1 in cascade in the basement, we started all over. It took just the head to totally enthrall our whole family. Now I have quite a nice collection, K100, K200, 3x15 columns, 4x12 columns, and a K25 combo. Not to mention the PA rack made from a new charcoal 2x15 speaker bottom. I need to get the entire collection in one place for a group photo. Besides, there is always room for one more. Welcome to the softest and safest site on the web. Conrad
