Anyone out there who knows how much power a K200 B-4 consumes? The Voltage here in Sweden is 230V and I have to use a step-down transformer to use the the head I got from the US.
Thanks

Hi again. If I remember right, the 200s and 250s have less than a 3 amp fuse in them. As your are dropping down from 230VAC to 120, and according to ohms law, a 400watt 230 to 120 volt transformer will be about 50 watts higher than what you need.

P.S the formula is volts times amps = watts or power.

I'm probably too late with this but is there an issue with the frequency of the power supply? In the states we are on 60Hz while I believe you Swedes are on 50Hz. Not sure what the implications of this would be as most of the internal ckt uses rectified DC, but might need to tweak some of the filtering stages. Just a thought . . .

You may get a little more 120 Hz idle hum,( sorry 100 Hz hum) and a little less than the normal 39.5 volts plus and minus from the powersupply, since you are recharging the filters 10 times less per second with 50Hz A/C.It should not be any thing major.
