Anyone tell me just how to spray scratchy POT's? For example, would I just spray a die-electric spray like Craig's for ex. right into the back of the POT? Help.........THX!

Hi,
This is how I did it, and it worked out fine:
I opened the amp so I could access the pots and sprayed contact cleaner in the little access holes of the pots (where I assume dust worn off the pot is supposed to escape) turn the pot a lot and then spray some more into the hole. Excess cleaner can be wiped off when it comes out of the pot.
In this way You will also get some dust and stuff out of the pot.
The trick is to position the amp so that when You spray into the pot the cleaner can get into the pot, and when You're turning it and wiping off excess the cleaner can easily get out of the pot. A lot of turning the amp around, but worth it I think...
If You haven't had a look at the input and output jacks I'd recommend You do that too. Some of them are "closing" (for example the high-low input jacks where the jack is bypassed when nothing is in it. This doesn't always work after 30 years, but it can be fixed if You're careful, but not too careful...
This took away a lot of unwanted cracks and noise for me.
By the way, do all of this while the amp is not connected to anything...
