Cool I have a kustom K200B1 And I am going to replace the power caps what is the best thing to do go for more capacitance, higher voltage or both and how much more can I go? I have seen 100v30,000+ caps out there but I don't want to overdo it. what is the best way to go? what else should I be replacing if I change these to increased values caps?

thanks for your help.

15,000 MFDs at 50 volts will be more than enough. You should also replace the rectifier bridge with a 10 to 25 amp model, the stock ones tend to blow some times with the added current that the higher MFD value caps draw at charge up/turn on.Be sure to hook up the new ones correct, eithier one installed wrong will blow out transistors.

If there is a radioshack by you they carry 2 or 3 different ones, they should have at least a 10 amp, more amps does not hurt.
