Old Kustom amp I think? [message #1967]

Ok I have a Kustom Amp (one Piece ) and all it says on the back is Model #1-b and the serial # is 122607. it plays fine except it sounds like distortion is coming out of the speaker. I guess from you guys would like to know what year it was mfr'd and is there a schematic available . Thanks Ron PS I have put a call into BOB Monday but I was told he is a very busy man.

I am guessing your amp is a non tuck and roll amp with black tolex covering. I think these were released around 74-75. Distortion can be anything from a blown speaker to bad components in the circuit. Sorry I can not be of more help....the tuck and roll models are my limited knowledge is. BC

Did you ever get the schematics for your B-1 Amp or get ahold of Bob Monday way back when you posted this ? I just got one of these amps last week and wanted to get schematics or any repair manual or parts pages on this one too, Any help will be appreciated, Thanks, Smoke1

Try Hayden Olenik at olenik@purdue.edu for the B-1 schematic. He supplies the rest of the schematics to this site for me and does have a B-1 schematic. Very Happy

Hayfever says you KustomDan (AKa Dad) haven't given him the manuals for the Old 70's Tolex KI, KII, KIII models yet Confused
