K200A-1 Schematic [message #6159] Sat, 17 September 2005 16:02   jackchapman Messages: 12 Registered: August 2005 Location: Harlingen,Texas Junior Member I have found that the schematic and board layout for the PC702 board in a K200A-1 is very close to the schematic and layout of a 400 watt PC704A. Just about all transistor placements and part numbers are the same. Sure came in handy when troubleshooting my K200A-1. Jack Report message to a moderator

I kept thinking that something was wrong as the later models all use an 8volt + or - voltage regulator. This amp works great now that I have gone through it and replaced missing and non-working parts. I took a chance and powered up with the 26 volts to the pre-amps and it sounds very good! I have an old K200A-1 head and I burnt a few transistors/resistors to the point of being unrecognizable. Don't ask how I did it. Jackchapman and Stevem - you guys seem to have some schematics for this. I've looked everywhere on the web and I can't find schematics for this amp. I've even tried on this site. I can e-mail you copies of the schematics that I have. I also can tell you the part numbers of the transistors if you send me a close picture of the board.......also need the board number from the face of the circuit board. If you have or can get one of those MXR brand graphic EQ stomp boxes, that may be a cure if the tone thing does not work out straight in with a mic. Report message to a moderator
