I myself do not know Les, I have never owned eitheir one. if the traditional kustom format applys one would think that a K25 is 12 watts and the K50 is 25 watts RMS.I have seen a K50 and seem to recall it having the normal riveted tag on the back stating 25 watts RMS.
I own a K25...I always assumed it was 25 rms...it seems way too loud for only 12 watts... I always thought that the little RCA power transistors were 25 rms each...but tech stuff I don't know...I don't own a K50 so I can't A/B em.....but I've never felt shy on power in my lil K25...

Hey guys, the K25 is actually 12 watts RMS, and the K50 is 25 watts RMS. There is a difference between the two! I know this first hand. The schematics will prove me right as well because there is one more output transistor in the K50. Side by side there is a difference. Deb

Hmm! if the k25 has only 1 output transistor then its a class A output stage, and turning the amp on without a speaker, or into a blown speaker will damage that output transistor so watch out.
