i know it's a 100 watt tuck and roll amp. it has 2x12's in the cab and has 2 chrome ports halfway down the cab. it has a bright and normal channel each with 2 inputs, volume, bass, and treble controls. i dont know what brand the speakers are, as i'm afraid to check because i dont want to damage the covering, as it is in good condition. i am looking to see what exactly it is and how much i can get out of it if i decide to sell it. i dont know if i want to or not yet. the light has a purple/blue jewel over it.

thanks alot

Hi, your amp is the standard guitar or bass head, the guitar 100 head with reverb and tremolo only has one channel. The difference between guitar and the bass set up would be the speakers, the standard guitar cabinet would have jensen speakers as labled on the original cab jack plate,or the optional and more expensive altec or JBL speakers but would their again be labled as such. The standard bass cab would have CTS brand speakers. I have never seen the bass 2-12 cab with optional speakers like the bass 1-15 cab can have. You can check this sites literature section on that, as I could be wrong.

It depends, the standard black is not worth as much as a sparkle color, of which gold and cascade green are worth the most. These days some of the original silver sparkle ones that kustom called charcoal, have aged and yellowed and look gold but if you look on the bottom of the head or remove the feet you can see the orignal color. If you go to ebay and check out the k100s their you can get a idea of what people are tryin to get for them. As for myself I would not pay more than 450 for one unless it was a rare color and or I had a bad itch for it.

Typically, a K100 with Jensens, which is the most plentiful version would go for $400 to $500 with black going for the least. There is a gold K100 on right now that is at $910. That is WAY WAY WAY too much. Why there is a bidding war on that one I don't know. I bought a gold K100 with a 1x15 CTS cabinet for $350 on Ebay. The condition is extremely important. An amp that is museum quality, that is, no tears, burns, holes, extra handles, aftermarket speakers, paint and pulls or snags in the grill is definitely worth more. I have a couple that are very close to that condition and some that are much worse. Be careful though, when you sell, be totaly up front about the condition and list everything that may affect the price and desirability of the amp. Remember that the amp is worth what someone will pay for it.

mine is almost museum quality. it has just a couple of tiny little holes in the black tuck 'n' roll. the grille is perfect.... i havent been able to see what the speakers are yet as its sitting in my bands practice room (possibly selling the Kustom in favor of a newer amp) im in a hardcore/grindcore/metalcore type band and the kustom just isnt cutting it, tho it sounds great. Im guessing it's probably loaded with Jensens but i do know it is all original. anyone want to buy it? haha oh well. and tho this is a kustom forum does anyone know anything about the Marshall valvestate 100 head? or the behringer 4x12 cabs that come loaded with jensens? thanx for any help.

ok i found out my kustom has CTS speakers in it, and the only damage is two or three very small holes in the cabs tuck 'n' roll and there is a little bit of repair in it using some sort of black putty. any ideas on how much she's worth?

I would say 350 to 400 dollars depending if you can spot the repair from viewing the front of the amp.

Ok one small hole and the repair can hardly be noticed from right over where it is, let alone when viewing. Everything is all original and in perfect working order.
