OK gang - The Rush to commit to the Indy show has been less than overwhelming! But I have "Firm" Commitments From about Five of us - And you know who you are - I am starting to Look into booking the Hotel this week as the hotels I have already contacted are about FULL! - Must be something else going on that weekend. I have found a Ramada Inn about 10 minutes from the Fairgrounds - With the Group discount, $60 plus tax - Not too bad. I will be confirming the rate and availablility on Monday Night - So........Let me know if the Ramada is OK - No Bar - But one across the street with a good BEER selection!! Rate is for 1 to 2 people a room. If we don't get some commitment here, I am afraid the event would be in trouble - We need more than five!! Remember, you don't have to commit to the costs of the show if you are not bringing any Rigs - If you just want to join us, and through in a small cash contribution to help with Bud's expenses, that would be great! I will be getting in Friday and leaving Sunday after the show - Let me know how many rooms and how many nights - So, no more begging from me - Either it's a yes or a no ~ Let me know one way or the other - Jc

BEER?! Well now you're talking! I can't bring anything larger than an overhead of a 737 with me, (again) but it's starting to look promising that I will be there. Jc, I get the feeling you've put up a lot of your own money to make this work. I want to make sure I've paid my part in full, so please let me know offline what I owe you. jimm "jimm"

OK Gang - Ramada Inn it is! I have put 8 rooms aside for "Kustom Amplifier" Group / John Compton. The Room Rate is $59.95 a nite. You will have to confirm your room with them, and then they will take it off my credit card and put it on yours. If you will please E-mail me when you do so, so I can keep my finances in line. I would appreciate it if you all would take care of this soon - as I will have to cancel some of the rooms if we do NOT need this many ~ I was just guessing. So....Ramada ~ 317-352-0481 ~ I talked to Eldon, nice guy ~ We have confirmation #'s ~ if there is a problem, E-mail me and I will give you one, but don't believe it would be prudent to post those here. You can get the directions from them - But it appears that the location is extremely easy, just off Hwy 70 and the Shadeland exit {#89}. OK - The rest is up to you ~ ET - I would really like to ask for your help in the arrangements with Bud. I hate to impose - But your relationship with your "Uncle" seems to be stronger than the rest of us. I have put one of the rooms under his name and we can hopefully cover those costs with the donation money. All the rooms by the way are booked for the 5th and the 6th - so if your dates are different, please let them know! Thanks, Jc

Confusion? Gang - I am not suggesting that everyone has to stay at the Ramada ~ or that I had paid for the rooms already ~ I just found the Ramada to have an OK price and they had rooms available - please feel free to book a room where ever you feel comfortable - I just had them put the rooms aside for anyone else who feels like staying there - I have confirmed my room - and Roy, I took care of yours - Thanks for the payment by the way Roy ~ But if anyone can come up with a better place, step up, please! If you decide to stay at the Ramada, all you have to do is call and ask for the rooms put aside for the Kustom group / John Compton ~ They will then give you one of the rooms and give you one of the confirmnation #'s. I'll give it another week and if we don't need the rest of the rooms, all I have to do is cancel the rooms not needed. Pretty simple - Jc

No confusion here my friend. I'll be confirming my flight and room today. Put together a nifty little mic stand with which to display my Kustom Microphone at Indy. Also, what kolor kat ought I bring this time ? Cascade, Silver or the Green ? Course, I could also bring the Black one, ya know, just for ET. . . .

I'll take a chance and try and reply to what is happening on Oct. 5&6. The annual guitar show is that weekend, and like the nashville guitar show last december, 12 of us picked the nashville show and rented space there to display some of beloved kustom kollecttion of amps and guitars. We had over 110 pieces of kustom gear on display. Some of the guys trailered equipment, and some flew in from the west coast. Bud Ross was present and it was a weekend of great playing, stories from Bud, and just a real eye opener, as to some very nice and some rare pieces. The indy site is our second annual get-to-gether, and I'm bringing as much gear as I can get there. I am looking forward to meeting as many of the new people that can make it and seeing the gang from last year, is always a treat. Don
