I think the speakers were 16 ohms each, wired in parallel, for a total impedance of 5.3ohms. Not really enough to allow the K200 heads to put out their full power. Not to mention, the 3-15 cabs weren't really big enough. But they make up for it in sheer coolness.

Hi, The CTS drivers where made by CTS" chicago telephone supply"
The added sound pressure level that the 3rd 15" driver adds more than makes up for the slight loss in output wattage due to the 5.3 ohm impeadance, and the cabinet being a bit on the small side for 3-15s rolls off the fundimental frequency of the bass strings to give a more even output.
The 2-15 cabinet will go down lower if the bass you use is a 5 string.

If you do not know how to test a transistor than it may be best to take the amp to a repair tech, or buy a repair book on solid state trouble shooting and learn how.
Their are transistor testers you can buy that will test them in circuit but that is not always possible so it is best most times to take them out of the circuit to confirm there state.

I just read another post you did yesterday, and you stated your heard a turn on thump when you fired up the amp, that would lead me to belive that most of the output stage is working and your problem lie at or around the first 2 transistor on the driver board.
