I don't follow Kustom amps on eBay regularly, but I thought surely a red one in that condition would go for a lot more than $152. Sure, it was untested, but my goodness, these things aren't that hard to fix.

You should use a sniping service - places a bid for you automatically just seconds before auction end. Most charge for the service, but auctionstealer.com gives you 3 free snipes per week. I've used them for years, and they've never failed me.
