Well guys, I was hoping to be able to make Indy this year, but I can't. I will be having surgery October 5th, on my right elbow, to re-work an old motorcycle injury that I had 23 years ago. I tried to talk the specialist into letting it slide for another week but he said no. I guess that's what I get for waiting too long to tell my doctor about it in the first place... Oh well.... Oh, if someone feels like I need a get well present--a nice SC in any size and color would be appreciated. (I will not hold my breath, ha ha!) You guys have a great time!
Yeah! I'm flying in late Friday night...gotta listen to George and Rudy and not let those bastards get to us when it comes to altering our travel plans. Where's breakfast Saturday morning?

To the new guys heading up to Indy... I bid you welcome and want to tell you that you are about to come face to face with the absolute best bunch of people I' ve ever come to know in my life. I count last years meeting as one of the most significant realisations of my dreams in this lifetime and I'm forever grateful to those that made the effort to come. All the more reason to have a heavy heart this year as I know that I must stay at the homefront. I had thought that my interim role as music director would be done by Sept 1st...but they have me staying with it at least thru the end of the year and right now there are about 3,000 folks that need their church leaders in front of them. JC...pls keep my fee and either put it towards the hall rental or use it buy a round for all...(as for your pink paint.. well I always had my suspicians about you)... Guys..I love you all and will greatly miss being there this year...thank you for all the emails and the fun we've had this year...don't know what the magic is about these kustom amps..but it hasn't faded in 30 years of playing them..and you've all made it so much more important by proving to be crazier than me...and a truly incredible group of people. I bid you all a safe trip, a great time together...take lots of pics.... and Play Loud ! ET

I've rounded up all the tuck 'n'roll, except for the p.a. which is still at the frontman's house. You should see my living room! Kustoms stacked up on both sides of a path that leads through the maze. JC, you said it before....my wife is a saint!.
Breakfast?!? If there is a Shoney's close by, I nominate that. Biscuits&gravy, bacon, hash browns/breakfast spuds, coffee, etc. *drool* *salivate*
And Budweiser for JC.
I am anxious to meet you Jo......and glad you are making the trip! I feel the same. Any more new folks coming??
Fox and I will arrive sometime Friday...still have not made definite leaving plans yet! BC
