Will it damage either the K200B2 (which wants to see 4 ohms) or the 13 Ohm 2/10 Musicman RH130 cab? I wired the two 8 ohm speakers in series and came up with 13 ohms. The reason I'm asking is I usually play my K100-2 (which wants to see 8 ohms) through it and I only have the one cab. Thanks in advance! Black Kustoms rule

You'll never damage an amp by running it into a higher impedance load than it's meant to drive. (well, solid-state amps, anyway - I'm not so sure about tube amps, which I hear can be damaged by running with no speaker load at all).

What you will find, however, is that the amp doesn't put out as much power driving the higher impedance load. If you're ok with the volume level, though, then you should befine.

BTW, two 8 ohm speakers in series are 16 ohms. You measured 13 ohms because that's only the resistive component. You'd need some fancy test equipment to measure the true impedance, which includes an inductive load as well.

The k100 will output just about the same wattage into a 4 or a 16 ohm(13 ohm resistance) load, but at 4 ohms it will be called opon to output twice the output current that it would at 8 ohms, so at any given volume level it will run twice as hot at 4 ohms as it would at 8 ohms.
Bottom line is if with a 4 ohm load you run the volume at a bit less than half way up, the amp should be fine, if you need to play it louder I would place a small fan at the rear of the amp close enough to move some air it doesn`t have to flap the power cord around!
