Replacement Speakers? [message #9276] Sun, 02 March 2008 09:49   smokerbass77 Messages: 7 Registered: October 2004 Junior Member I need to replace the speakers in my 1968 2X15 bass cabinet, and I'm trying to figure what I should replace them with. They are the original speakers, and after 40 years of service have finally decided to throw in the towel. I've been told Peavey Black Widow's are the way to go, but I figured this would be the place to get some honest and knowledgeable advice. So let me know... I think you'd have to spend 2x-3x the price to get noticeably better/loader sound.
