don't know if this is already common knowledge or not but I just found a great replacement caster for my vintage tuck and roll 2x15 cab. I'm guessing they all used the same ones with the 2" ball. I needed to replace 2 of mine (ha-ha-ha- I get it!!!). I was looking all over the net and on ebay and everywhere. Then I decided to check out for the hell of it HOME DEPOT.They had a similar one but then I checked Lowes.com. Low and behold they have an EXACT replacement. They go for $2.97 for 2. The only difference is that they're brass instead of chrome. At that price and convenience WHO CARES??? The screw holes line up too. Anyone interested go to lowes.com. The model # is 4307299 and the item# is 67040. AWESOME!!!

Yep, they are a nearly exact match. I used them on my Kombo organ - had to re-do the way they attached underneath, so the screw heads went in the opposite way. With the nuts coming out the bottom, the thinner plate of the Lowes casters caused the ball to scrape on the bottom of the screws.

If your Kustom is Gold in color, the Lowes casters actually enhance the appearance,I think.

Antique electronics has them in chrome, they are made by, or atleast packaged by Peavey, and about 5 bucks each.
I do not know about the size of the mounting plate.

Never mind I found them. Searching for the words "caster" or "casters" did not turn these up:

Graingers has the closest replacement caster I've found. The link would be www.graingers.com and the part number is 5X758 and the sell for 6.01 each. Graingers has locations all over America.
