Hey I own a 1978 kustom III lead sc that's in great condition (no dents, scrapes or tears). I love the thing but unfortunately I have to sell it. I know I'm not going to get what I paid for it but I have no idea what the list price is or what I should be asking for it? Every shop that's taken a look at it has no clue and can't seem to find anything to price it. HELP ME OUT! I've gotta sell it but I don't want to be suckered in to selling it for much less than it's worth.

Thanks guys!!!

email any responses to me at saw.tooth@yahoo.com, I check it a few times a day and have to figure out this situation asap.

If it is in very good condition, I would say somewhere around $200.
This assumes everything works OK - both channels work, both speakers work, the reverb works, all contols work, etc., and no tears in the grille cloth and the tolex is in good shape.

If it is mint condition or has premium speakers like JBLs or Altecs, then it is worth a little more.

If you can attach a good picture, we can give you a more accurate estimate.

The amp head that I started a thread about here- it's starting to look like I'm just going to give that to a neighbor kid.

As with everything, what you can get for it depends on who is looking for one...

This is off topic ...but yours is tuck and roll and is an amp head (as opposed to a heavy combo) - so it is easy to ship.
If I were you I would put it on ebay with good pictures.
If everything works and the damage on top is not too bad, it could go for $150 to $200.
If you want, attach a picture and we can give you a better idea what it is worth.
