Once again, I need to ask the experts....I have found an excellent condition Cascade K150-6 bass combo that appears to have a JBL in it. The seller was describing things to me and mentioned a "reset breaker" on the back near the monitor out jack. I know the K200B's never had that as far as I recall, so I'm wondering if this is standard issue or if it's been modified. The amp sounds like it may be a real find for the price and the one pic he had sent makes it look good, so I'm wondering if the $375 aasking and the 4 hour round trip will be worth it. Thanks for any help.

The circuit breaker must of been added at some point, since the amps never had them from the factory.
The JBL driver alone is worth some 150 dollors, so yes I would say that price is worth it along with the drive to get it!

A cascade K150-6 with a JBL sounds great - I would say get it.

The only negative about the added circuit breaker is that it could have had a problem blowing fuses in the past. I would ask the seller if it has any issues.

Also, if you go there, I would check it carefully - run the amp at least 10 minutes or more to look for any amplifier/thermal etc. issues.

Also check the usual things - make sure both channels and all controls work fine, check the handles and casters.

(Since it has the 150 amplifier and a JBL, it is going to be heavy -somewhere around 88 to 90 lbs or more.)

Thanks again to all of the knowledge out there. The owner did mention that all the caps had been replaced just before he got it 12 years ago and it had some other work done. Other than some surface rust on the casters and handles and a replced power plug, he claims it all works perfect, so we'll see tonight if I can get over there. If I gotta buy a long vacuum cord, handles and casters, I guess it mahy be worth picking up. Thanks!
