hi i'm looking for a few kustom kats to put in my music room...... my father in law worked at the factory in chanute and told me they used to make stools and vests with the scraps if anybody has any of this stuff i would also be very interested......

We saw a black tuck and roll stool at the convention in Chanute. They were supposed to be made from a stack of speaker cut outs covered in tuck and roll. We also saw a metal one with a charcoal tuck and roll seat at the Kustom Signals factory left over from the old days. There is a picture of "Pleat" in a Kustom vest that was taken at the Kustom gathering in Indy in 2001 (he is the only one of us who could get in the thing) and we saw several original Kats in Chanute as well. The Kats show up on Ebay every now and then. The other things are not seen as much. BC Cool

Hey Snodgrass, theres a kustom kat in charcoal on Ebay right now under the search title "nauga" its up to a hundie right now, more than I'd pay, but these little guys are rare after all..... Good Luck!- Thekid
