Jimmy, you bring up some interesting questions. The serial number would place it at the very beginning of the K200A guitar. Black was not a factory finish at that time. If the pickups have adjustable pole pieces, would make it a K200A. The K200C guitar did not have adjustable pole pieces. Don't lose the pole pieces, they are the magnet for the pickup. I'd love to see some photo's. If you have some email them to me at djt@chartermi.net and I can tell you what you really have. I'm thinking it may be a K200A that has been refinished and the Bigsby screw holes filled. Does it have a case, and if so what shape is the case, rectangular or form fit?

hi,i will send pics in a few days,my camera is tied up.i pulled the neck, same color,it did have a bigsby, someone replaced it with what i think is from a guild.it has adjustable poles and stationary,i fixed the magnets,it functions fine, the action is a little high, have to adjust truss rod tomorrow and having a hard time with intonation, but i am still working on it.just spent 4 hours on it.she looks as good as she,s gonna get.someone replaced the klusions with maybe early shallers.gonna let the neck settle for a few days and try to straighten it a little more, carefully.quite the set up,the neck goes underneath the rythym pickup and its completely hollow.pretty cool.i will send you pics in a few, thanks.jimmy
