I have read here that the Carvin ps15 are good replacement speakers for Kustoms used for bass (I have a k200b-1 and the matching 2x15 cabinet). However, I recently read that the new Carvins are not as good as the old, I guess because Celestion is now making the speakers where formerly it was Eminence. Anyone have any experience with the new Carvins? Thanks.

Non with the new Carvins, but I do have some new Eminence Kappa Pro 15's in a pair of PA subs that are just brilliant. I think I paid 100.00 ea for them. Great speakers for subs and bass. Check them out.

Another great driver that will not break the bank with its 83 dollar price and works well with that size 2-15" cabinet is the Selenium model 15PN3-SLF that parts express carrys
