the max you can go is a total of 4 ohm load, with that said both cabs can be no more than a 8 ohm load each.

Bart, The one I have now is wired at a 4 ohm load this new one I'll be geting it the end of the week or next mon. So I don't know if its wired for a 4 or 8 ohm load. Now with that being said if both where wired 8 ohms then I could use the y adapter for a 4ohm load???? Thanks,Jim

JimW, once you get your other cab and if the speakers are original to the cabinet, that cab will be a total of 8 ohms. You could wire your first cab in series to get a 16 ohm load. Using the Y cable Bart suggested, both cabs will present a 3.2 ohm load to the K250 head. Safe enough to run without damage to the K250 head. Doing this, you can run either cab by itself to the amp, or both. Keep in mind that running both cabs, the cab you rewire to series will not sound as loud as the factory original cab that is 8 ohm total.
You will want to make sure the phasing of all speakers move in the same direction. AA battery will show if the cones are moving in or out when applying + voltage to the speakers. Don't rely on the markings of the speakers, different speaker manufactures may not mark the terminals in the same way. I know JBL speakers red post with positive voltage, the cone will move in towards the magnet, most all other speaker brands, the cone move outward with a positive voltage is applied.

If you need a third blue 2x12 cab with original CTS speakers, I have one I'd sell.

Yup, its a late 2000 to 2002 China made cab with reissue Jensens in it, I got one of those and the bigger 4-12" and 2-15" cab of that era.
They sound good, but one thing you should do if you get it is pop it open and re-glue the cabinet.
Yes, I side reglue it. they use hot glue to put thses things togethere and you know how strong that stuff is.
Get some good yellow carpenters glue and do it right.

It does not much matter what they are, but how they sound, no?
If it where me I would pick up a used 100 watt power amp and feed it the signal off of the K250 module jack, as thats whay its there.
