Pic doesn't work, however a K200A-5 is simply an early K200 PA head. The A series was made for a short time before the B series. The A series had issues (they either worked or they didn't, that is why they were re-designed and came out with the B series. If yours still works you have a good one. I have a K200A-2 and it still works and sounds great.
how do I make the pictures work? if I open the link, from my post it takes me to the pictures... My K200A-5, is a two channel bass head. bought new, from Forbes Music, in Birmingham Alabama, with the riveted plate on the back. serial #20075.. I know what the P.A. head and stand looks like, we had a double system, in blue sparkle.
Sorry, I had the pictures set to private.. they should work for you now...

The pic works now that it isn't private. That is a K200A-1 head. So more of a bass head, I like the -1 for a guitar head myself.
It is just marked wrong from the factory or someone changed the plate with a PA head.
The serial number shows that it was the 75th A series head made. They were only made from Jan - May of 1968, so they were very short lived. 20001 was the first one made.
Oh, OK, Bart, thank You! no, it's riveted, from the factory. does the serial number give you any idea what year it was actually made. I don't know how long it was at the store before we bought it.
