Any ideas on where I can find a replacement lamp. When I bought this amp the lamp was missing from the socket.
Thanks

Welcome to the place. I'm not familiar with that model, so maybe Pleat will have the final answer for you.

If you describe the socket, we might be able to figure it out from that. All earlier Kustom amps used a 28 volt bulb for the pilot lamps. They were either a bayonet mount or a miniature screw in bulb.

Thanks Chicagobill. It is a bayonet style lamp.
If it is rated at 28v. I will see if I can find one. I tried a 120v. lamp and it worked but was real dim.
I also have a K250 head with the lamps out, I know those are miniature but one of them is missing and the other is broke and stuck in the socket.
Any idea where I can find lamps for both of these amps?
Thanks

I get them from Mouser Electronics in Texas. The metalfront bulb is a #335 lamp and the standard 28 volt bayonet lamp is a #1829.

The typical set up is that there is a wire from the power supply, usually the negative side that goes to the lamp holder, and then there is a 200 ohm power resistor that goes from the lamp to ground.

On the metalfronts one lamp is connected to the positive side and one to the negative side of the power supply.

See if your head has the same set-up and you'll be good to go.

Thank you so much chicagobill! I happen to be in Texas. I found both of these lamps at a local electronic shop. Thanks to the info you gave me my Kustom Kasino has a bright blue gem pilot light and on my K250 the power and polarity push buttons are lighting up for the first time since I bought the amp.
I have to say it is awesome that vintage collectors start these forums for the love of the product and respect for the fellow collectors that love it as well.
I have had the same experience over on the Acoustic Control Corp. forum!
God Bless!
