I am extremely new at this. Have an old cab that I would like to find some info on; year made, schematic, whatever I can get.
Tried to attach some photos but have been unsuccessful. Forum Options says images are "on" but there is no browse button to click on.
Half of the model number is worn off of the plate on the back of the cab. Thought some pics might be the only way to do this.
Any help would be appreciated.

How many tuck & roll ribs tall and wide is it?
Does the height of the cabinet taper larger from top to bottom?
Does it have port tubes in the front face?
If it has port tubes are they plastic,or aluminum?
If it has a front face Kustom name plate does it say Kustom electronics?
Does the black grill cloth have any silver in it?
How many speakers are in the cabinet?
If it has a metal tag on its back then it's likely a late 1969 and latter cabinet.
If the speakers are original most of them will have a date stamped on the mounting lip, or on the rear of the magnet.
If it's a horizontal 2-12"cabinet and or a 4-12" cabinet with no port tubes (non combo) that would be from 2000 to 2002 and not a vintage item.

Hello Stevem,
Thanks for replying. I put as much info as I could below. Hope this helps.

How many tuck & roll ribs tall and wide is it?
No Tuck and Roll ribs. Cabinet is black, 31" tall x 24" wide x 16 3/4" deep.

Does the height of the cabinet taper larger from top to bottom?
No

Does it have port tubes in the front face?
One port (no tubes). Port opening is 13 3/4" wide x 3 3/16" high. Port is at bottom of the cabinet.

If it has port tubes are they plastic,or aluminum?
See above.

If it has a front face Kustom name plate does it say Kustom electronics?
White painted large Kustom "K" with white painted name "Kustom" below the "K". The "K" is 5 3/16" tall x 4 5/16" wide. The name "Kustom" is 2 1/2" wide x 7/16" tall.

Does the black grill cloth have any silver in it?
No grill cloth.

How many speakers are in the cabinet?
One, 12", I believe. Not sure what to measure, for instance, the opening for the speaker is 13" diameter so I assume it is a 12" speaker.

If it has a metal tag on its back then it's likely a late 1969 and latter cabinet.
Yes. Metal tag on back. Same Logo as mention above is on the tag. Serial Number is S171937, Patent Number is 210.129, Model Number is worn off. Tag also has "Chanute, Kansas" on it.

The hook-up connections and specs are on the back of the cab as follows. Hope this lines up when I post it. If you want some pics I could send them to you

"Bi Amp Inputs"
"MIDRANGE & "WOOFER
TWEETERS 8 OHM" 8 OHM"
1/4" jack "+12 dB" "OUT" (1/4" jack)
here (up/down switch here)
"normal projection" "IN" (1/4" jack)
"FULL RANGE
8 OHM"
"35 - 20 Khz
100 WATTS
120 dB SPL
SPECS"

If the speakers are original most of them will have a date stamped on the mounting lip, or on the rear of the magnet.
I'll have to get some help with this part. I can't lift too much weight just yet. Had bypass surgery couple of months ago. Still a little tender. When my son gets home we'll move it and take a look see. Got the above info from some pics I took a while back.

If it's a horizontal 2-12"cabinet and or a 4-12" cabinet with no port tubes (non combo) that would be from 2000 to 2002 and not a vintage item.

From what you describe, it sounds like it is the Kustom Pro-3W PA cabinet. Does it have a midrange horn in the top of the front of cabinet? Are there radius sides going from the front of the cab back to the speaker board? If so from the description of the input/crossover panel, it is a PA cab. 78-80's era cabs.

Thanks pleat. You nailed it on the description. Large horn in top of cab with two smaller ones beneath between the radius sides. They are screwed in underneath. Yes, radius sides going from front of cab back to the speaker board. The Model number you mention appears to be it. I can make out the Pr and now that I know the model the rubbed down digits appear as you state.
Any idea where I could get a manual for this thing?
Thanks again for the feedback. My son greatly appreciates it also.
