I've come upon a pair of Kustom PA speakers that I know nothing about, and I'm trying to find answers to a few questions. They have a model number of 2-10, and they say that they're made in Chanute, Kansas.

My questions are:
What is the impedance/how can I figure it out? Can I hook them up to a regular home phono amplifier? Will they sound any good for home use?

I would post an image but this board won't let me use a link until I have more than 10 messages... they are black, about a foot wide, maybe 2-3 feet tall, and half a foot deep.

Thanks in advance!

Kustom offered a II-PA column in the mid 70's that contained two 10" speakers. Cab impedance of 16 ohms. 23" tall, 14" wide and 10" deep. They are designed for vocal use, and I doubt would sound good for home stereo use. They would lack good bass and treble response. I guess you could hook them up and judge for yourself.
