I really like these little amps. What are the rare colors on them? If I could find a nice Charger what should I plan on spending? Are there any parts in my Charger that would exchange if I decide to part it out? Thanks everyone! Ted

If you REALLY like them then why would you part it out, I would have to guess that you like the money more!
Just sayin so don't take any offence!

Hi Steve. The only reason I would part it is that I want a good Charger. My cabinet is torn up on the bottom and as you have seen in my repair thread it distorts bad at about 1/4 volume. I am not that good at electronics. If I could get it fixed at a good price locally I would!

Oh, yes I recall your post now, sorry!
Have you been able to try the amp section out driving a different speaker , or confirm with a different amp that the speaker is good?

Yes. I have a 2x15 JBL cabinet that was my stage rig years ago. My Carvin PB 200 works great thru it. My Kustom will distort thru it at 1/4 volume. Thanks!

Do you have even a cheap digital voltmeter, or can someone you know lend you one?

If you can grab use of that Fluke and have time to call me Sunday nite or whatever I can walk you thru some checks of the amp if you want?
The two boards are easy to pull in these amps and if one is bad you can just ship that to me a I will repair it.
I will PM you my phone number Ted.

Thanks! That may work! I have my 40th Class reunion Saturday and will be at the drag strip Sunday. How cool would it be to get this thing running! I can make my own caster plates and get a speaker from e-bay.
