Hey there, back for more info/advice. I just picked up a k200b-2 with the above speaker configuration. Were these a common offering from Kustom? Also the speakers it came with are 2-10 CTS original as they're stamped with the kustom name and 2-12 jensens. I assume someone replaced the 12's or could it be that some cabs come with a combination of branded speakers. Thanks as always.

Post a picture of the rear of the 12" speakers with a good shot of the magnet and I can tell you if they are vintage or new replacement Jensens.
And I would not rule out Kustom using both a Jensen and CTS drivers in late 69 when Jensen was on the ropes and going down for the count!

Looking at them, I have my doubts if they're original as they don't look like the jensens in my 2-15 cab

The Jensens look to be original to the cabinet, but should have the Kustom ink stamp logo on the frame of the speaker. Should also be 16 ohms each speaker.

I own one of the 2x12 + 2x10 cabinets - the 12's in mine were Jensen C-12N, and the 10's appeared to be CTS. They all have the "Kustom" inkstamp. My speakers look exactly like yours.

Thanks Braud- thats good to know. My jensens are the same model number as yours so maybe everything is stock. Not that it matters much in my mind, just was curious about it. I did mention the magnets were different from the ones in my 2-15 cab but that is also from the older Ross inc era. All the insight I get here is much appreciated.

Your Jensen 15" speakers are a P15L model, the P. Stands for a Alinco type magnet and these magnets look different then the magnet on your other Jensen drivers are a Ciramic type as the is C prefix you see in the C12N model stamped on the mounting lip of those speakers.

The date stamping on the P15L drivers ( 220648) shows they where made on the 48th week of 1966, which dates that amp pretty well!

Thank you Steve and pleat as well for the earlier input. After firing up the k200b-2 head, I found there to be a good amount of hissing going on. After reading past posts on this issue, seems it's pretty common so I'll be doing some troubleshooting tonight. Any advice is welcome as always. In addition, the left channel bright switch affects the sound when in the On position. It seems to cut the output down considerably. Thanks again all!

That switch should be sprayed out with some contact cleaner.

If you run the signal from the RCA jack on the back into another amp is the excess hiss still there, if not than the issue is on the output board , not in one of the two preamps.
