Hello.Any suggestions on how to remove paint specs on the tuck and roll? I have a product called "goof off" but it seems a little harsh. This must have been a popular fad in the past to paint a room white with your black amp not covered as I have another one like it.

I have used a gel type paint stripper that did not harm the covering, unfortunately I am at work and do not recall what brand it was, but it was in a tub and the gel was green in color .
Latter this afternoon I will be home and check what it was for ya!

I use Simple Green cleaning spray, or any household cleaner. It will not affect the T&R and will get out white latex paint. I bought a 3x15 cabinet and the owner had spilled a fair amount of white paint on the top of the cabinet and let it dry for years.
Spray and let it set a few minutes, start wiping it off, it may take several times but eventually will get it all.

I used back to nature Ready strip.
Just apply per the instructions and before wiping off scrub with a old tooth brush!

I use Naptha VM&P. Works well; doesn't harm. Might take some elbow grease on some places. Almost every Kustom I've bought has had some kind of paint on it.

Yes that does do the job well but not on Latex paint, but it must be used in well vented work area and with work gloves!

Works on all the paint I've had on amps including latex.

Does it dissolve the latex or lift it off?

Dissolves. I've never used glove, no problems.

Thanks for all the advice. I tried the Simple Green and a few other products but I'm on the west coast and can't get Naptha VM&P. The amp still has the white specs but I replaced the Peavy speaker that was in it with a CTS and it sounds pretty damn good. Hoping the specs vibrate off at high volume! Thanks again.

Not yet. I'm in a small town and heading to the "big city" today with that product on my list. I'll let you know how it works.
