I can see that the cab does not have the ports, Looks like a non Frankie 100 head with 6 controls knobs each side. Possibly Eminence speakers with the metal dust cover with the center cutout. That's as much as I can tell with the crappy pic he posted.

Trying to decide whether it would be worth the hour or so drive to check it out. Ad says make reasonable offer.

Thanks -

Something is not making sence here, as K100 heads ( non combo type 100s) have either 3 knobs one each side of the pilot lamp, or 8 knobs on each side as on the PA head, no 6 knob set ups!
Also all K 100 speaker cabinets ( non combo) have ports unless someone re- grilled the cabinet and left the ports off, the only speaker cabinets to have no ports would have been some of the Early Frank era cabinets as far as I know!

I was thinking that something didn't look right stevem, but even with the crappy ONE pic that he sent, I did not see ports for sure. Controls on the head could be more than 6 on the left side but I can clearly see what appear to be at least 6. The left side is too obscured for clarity. So it could be a mixed head and cab. I'm still guessing that an original port-less cab may be a little more desirable based on the limited production, or am I wrong on that? Thanks.

K100 heads and cabinets have 10 pleats ( width) on top of them, Frank heads and cabinets have 11 on them, and k200 and 250 units have 12 pleats.

Thanks Steve. I ended up talking to the guy today. He's out of town and will be back Tuesday and can tell me more. He did say that it had 3 speakers. Oh well, just have to wait till then.

Well then if its vinage with no ports it sounds like it would be 3-15" Frank era cabinet with a 200A or 200B head.
