CTS speakers from '73 [message #22678]

I've run across a late 60's Kustom cab. Someone's changed the upper half of the cab and put in 2x12 inch CTS speakers. The top number is 108114PA with the bottom one being 137 7307N. I'm not familiar with the PA part on the top number, nor the N on the make and date code number. It's a Jensen labeled cab that should have been a 2x15. The 15 in the bottom section is a Standel speaker, so no originals here. The CTS's have the partial metal dust cover. Any clues to the letters?? Maybe Public Address?

If you ask me it looks like you only hve one CTS 12 incher, the one that starts with the CTS 137 code!
I can only take a guess that the N at the end is a reference to the amp manufacturer that CTS originally made the driver for.

Your other speaker is a mystery as I have looked high and low at EIA codes and it does nit show up for anything thing electronic no less a speaker!

No worries Steve. The cab got sold before I could even look at it in person. Guy probably put some other number for the second one. I do appreciate your efforts. Thanks again. Oren
