Was wondering if there is any kind of fuse or overload that could be installed inline with speaker to protect them from power surges. With all these 3-15's cabinets I now have, I have a lot of money tied up in big speakers. With the age of the these Kustom amps, I worry about something terribly going wrong possibly. Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks buddy.
Leaving this morning for Milwaukee to buy a K-250 with all the effects....in blue and a set a JBL speaker cabinets. The amp has issues and is being sold cheap. I will be contacting you for help in getting it back together again.
What do you thing about adding 2 round tweeters to a 3-15's cabinet? Since it was originally a bass cabinet and I have turned the speaker board upside down so the bass ports are on the bottom, was thinking of selling it with a K-200 head that has the reverb and tremolo on one side and just regular functions on the other side. By adding a crossover with a switch, thought that the cabinet would be more versatile and could be used for either bass or guitar. The chrome tweeters are about the same size as the bass ports so was thinking it would look pretty cool with them between the top and middle speakers.

I am really not fond of the normall 4-10 cabs with tweeters for Bass as I find that the cross over point leaves a hole in the sound that I hate, I preferred to use for instance like what I have in many of my 2-15 cabs, a EVM b and a EVM L or in the 3-15 cabs moded to 2-15s and 2 -10" drivers.
