Will a reverb tank in a K100C-8 4x10 work(and fit) in a K25C-2? And vice versa? Every once in awhile I run across a non working Kustom for parts.

Also, I want to try different vintage speakers out in the K25C-2...What wattage should I get? I know the K25C-2 is only 12.5 watts.

thanks.......

So I assume you do not have the reverb pan for the K25?
I do not know for sure, but I will take a guess that it is the same pan that would be in all the plexi face amps.
Just take the pan from your K100 and hook it up to the amp as no harm will come if it's not the same resistance spec, what will happen is that it will work poorly, or not at all, and if it's the right spec it will work fine!

A 30 to 50 watt speaker is all that's needed.

thanks stevem....

Yes the K25C-2 does have a reverb pan. I didn't want to hook up a different pan before I found out if any damage might occur should they not be compatible. I haven't got the K25C-2 back from the repair shop yet. I'm having a 3 prong cord put on it and having everything else checked to see why it doesn't have any treble.....In the meantime I found a K100C-8 that someone put a 15" speaker in for $50 which I'd probably keep for spare parts. I prefer the sound of the original 4 Eminence 10" speakers.......
