After searching for a few years for the perfect Kustom amp I finally lucked out and found one. The few times I did find one the seller was unwilling to ship. I found a seller who was willing to ship and I couldn't be happier. The amp arrived and I was blown away at the condition ... its as if I went back in time and bought this thing and brought it back. How would I go about dating this amp? Its a silver sparkle / white. Also, with regards to color options is one more collectable then the other? Thanks for taking the time to read my post. I have always loved these amps and I will never part with this one !!!
I tried to upload an image but I couldn't get the icon to open up ... sorry.

Congrats on your find!
Is it a combo, or piggy back k100?
If the amps serial number plate has been removed, there are many other ways to pin down the amps birth date.
If you go back to some of the earlier posts here, you find a thread where Pleat is telling about how many amps were made with the different colors. Black of course was the most common and then it was either charcoal or silver. The Teal color was the least made as I recall so it would be the most collectable.
If you don't have covers get them and keep it out of the sun, it will oxide and turn yellow.

Another welcome. I have a '70 silver K200 B-I head with matching 2x15 cab with the optional (and rare) JBL D140F-6 orange/silver speakers. Congrats on your score. You now have the hook set.
