All my house belongings and my Kustoms have to go into a climate controlled storage for 3 to 5 months while my house is rebuilt..,,Anything I should know about storing them? I keep them rubbed down with armorall....I won't put anything heavy on them or up against the naugahyde either....I only have one Kustom cover....Thought I'd drape some sheets over the other two. Then craft cardboard boxes to go over them to protect them with the movers...,,Any problem to the naugahyde with this?....thanks,

I would wipe them down with that protectant, get some shrink wrap and wind a some what tight layer around them from side to side ( skipping the handle area) and top to bottom and then cut out a section of card board to if in the grill area and then shrink that in place and be done with it, just be sure to oversee the move in and out of storage!

So shrink wrap won't cause a chemical reaction with the naugahyde it sounds like....thanks.

You might want to talk to the storage company as well. I know some people store cars and boats and other things of value in airtight bags. You might want to look into that. Same principle they use in food storage systems where all the air is removed from the bags.....no moisture, dust, critters. Just a thought.

The insurance's packing company they use wrapped them in soft blankets, shrink wrapped, and boxed them up. Put in climate controlled storage facility.....thanks.
