I just picked up a 2-10 SC amp & have a few questions. The speakers are exposed in back. It IS supposed to have a closed back, right? Also, the chassis is loose in the cabinet. There are 4 holes underneath it. Can I assume those are to secure it to the cabinet? If so, what size screws do I need to get to secure it?
The trem/vibrato is kind of "lame" & hear very little difference between the 2 effects. IS it normal for the left channel to have trem/vib only & the right reverb only? It also sems like it should be much louder for 75W RMS.
I would appreciate any responses/advice ASAP, as I am still deciding weather to keep it or not.

Hello!
Yes, the amp should have a back panel but they are not completely closed off , they have long oval cut outs.
The 4 screws to hold down the amp chassis to its mounting board are 10/32 machine screws and need to 3/8ths of a inch longer than the thickness of the mounting board.
The amp should only have the effects ( reverb, vibrato, tremolo) work on one channel, and the virbrato and trem on these amps work very well when all is working right.
In light of this I would say you have a messed up amp!

Thanks!
Those issues, combined with a weak sound W/ even weaker effects, I think this one is going back! Not even loud enough for playing with a drummer at 2/3 volume. NOT right for 75 watts!
