Just picked up a gorgeous Charcoal K250-2 head, sounds fantastic. This is the first 250 series head I've owned, have always had the earlier 200 series. The locking reverb was a new one to me, the "illustration" around it makes it look like you should rotate the knob to lock/unlock. I had to actually pull the knob out a ways to unlock it....and then pushing it back in locks it. I take it that's the way it's supposed to work? I know, I know....a trivial question.
I was surprised to see only one speaker out jack on these heads, my old 100's & 200's had two jacks. I would have assumed that these were originally sold in two-cabinet configurations.
Love the head, gobs of power!

You have the reverb lock figured out.
In the K250 series, they only have one speaker out. The amp is designed to drive a 4 ohm load. In this series, Kustom offered the second cabinet with a built in power amp. Theory was, each time you added a speaker cab, you were adding the additional power amp in the back of the cab. The speaker cabinets in the K250 series were 4 ohm speaker cabs in the 4x12 guitar, and 2x15 bass and guitar cabinets. The 3x15 guitar and bass cabs are 2.7 ohm load according the kustom speaker chart.
The older K200 series speaker cabinet used 16 ohm speakers, for a 8 ohm load for a 2x15 cab and 5.6 ohm load for the 3x15 cabs.

If the foam pad inside on the lock plate has not dry rotted as many do and fallen off, then to lock you first push in and then twist, to unlock you should just have to twist and the spring will pop the shaft back to rear most position .
If it does not pop back you need to lube that shaft!
That's the issue, it doesn't pop back. I have to pull it out, and push it in. I'll lube it, see if it helps....no big deal, I'll leave it operating for the most part!
