Hello freaks,
In the Kustom Bass Amp advertising folder from 1974 (there is one now on ebay com), the II-Bass model features here a 2 x 12 "speaker 4 Ohms while the Kustom II Bass was delivered with 1 x 15 inch 8 Ohms and the amplifier always had an output of 8 ohms Can anyone give me an explanation please ?
Thanks and regards, mathias61

I didn't find the amp your talking about on ebay, but in the first series of Kustom amps after they dropped the T&R the bass ll amp is a 60 watt rms power output into a 8 ohm load. Kustom didn't make a 2x12 bass cab in that series. What you may have is the head matched to a 2x10 PA cab that has replaced speakers that are 8 ohm and both speakers presenting a 4 ohm load.

Thanks pleat for your information ! It's just because in the Kustom Bass amps catalog of 1974 which is offered for sale on ebay com, stated that the Kustom II bass amplifier is linked to a cabinet with 2 speakers with 4 ohms. That was also the reason for my question on the forum.
