Hey, everyone, I have three Kustom A-4 heads (1967 with two circuit breakers SN #16767, 1968 #20084, 1968 #21242). I somehow managed to crack the face plate on the left (Trem/Vib side) on the #20084 A-4. Some of the underside paint appears to have come off, as well. Any suggestions on what I can do? I have an A-5 donor head that was sold to me by a friend on here; would the holes match up?

I don't know what your thinking here as the face plates between the A4 and A5 heads from 1968 and up even though they will exchange fit wise are labeled different so I can't see how you would make use of the swap?!

Whenever you remove a face plate some of the gloss black paint on its rear will come off, what I do is just touch it up with gloss black enamel from a bottle or enamel spray from a can.
Do not use a lacquer base paint!
