I have to tell you, the guys on this board are second to none!
I am disabled, but still play music a lot. During my work career, I collected Kustoms and an old Plush. Seven of them.
I even have my original K200B 3x15's that I bought new at 16 years old during the start of my first band. I'm 60 now. Fast forward to about 8 years ago. I put the amps, all working in my basement. I have a new band, and got my old 200 out to use in a gig. It didn't work. So I pulled them all out. None of them worked!!!
At a loss as to what to do, and knowing I couldn't afford an amp shop, I placed a notification on the board. The notice was quickly answered by Chicagobill and Stevem. They said they could help so I decided to take the most expendable amp, a K100 pa head, to see what happened. I am NOT a guy who knows much more than soldering. After about a hundred posts, this thing is working as good as new. Same for all the others. Chicagobill walked me through every step of every amp. All my amps are working as good as new. I am currently going through the Plush and expect the same results.
Who knew there were people like Bill and Steve who for nothing else other than a strong love for these old amps, and an incredible heart would help me like they have.
