Standel S115 speakers in a 215 Kustom cab...? [message #29362]

Hello everyone,

I have a vintage Kustom 215 cabinet, and after maybe 10 years, I finally got around to opening it up...There are 2 Standel S 115 8 ohm speakers in there wired in Parallel, and there was also a Hawaiian Lei!

(I'm sure I spelled that wrong)...I've read on these forum pages that these cabs shipped new with 16 ohm 15's to show the Kustom Solid State amp an 8 ohm load...two questions; are these Standel 15's worth anything as far as trying to sell them ( they sound fine, just thinking the impedance is an issue), and any suggestions as far as 16 ohm 15" speakers for this cab? I have a K100-1 to drive them with, I'd like to be able to use the amp for bass in small rooms, and possibly guitar occasionally too....
