Hi All,
It's time for a very large Kustom collection to change hands, and we want YOU to be the new owner! There are:
3 combo amps
17 heads
24 cabinets
Pretty much every model from the tuck & roll period is represented at least once, there are several Frankie heads, and there are some really rare items too, like an actual police siren used as a high frequency driver, and the amp and head used by the Bobby Goldsboro band. Every speaker used by Kustom in the 1960s and 1970s is represented in various cabinets. Also included is the Johnny Cash tribute PA speaker system.
I can't post an image here, nor can I post links, but you can find the link by going to craigpatterson dot com, and looking under Document Library, then clicking on Gary Paul Kustom Collection. There you will find an image of the entire collection, as well as extensive production notes about all the heads, cabinets, and combos, denoting their condition, model number, serial numbers (where they still exist), and what they sound like. I wish I could paste it here, but it's just too much text.
On that same page is a link to the book written about the collection, showing the pieces individually in wonderful images.
Price is $9500 for everything. The collection is currently in Colorado. Free delivery can be accomplished if you're close.
The owner is NOT interested in breaking up the collection, so please do not ask to do so. This amazing collection needs to go to just the right owner; a person who can appreciate it for what it is, and who may have a desire to record, tour, or just display these amps.
